Our Approach to IB Courses

Tutoring Service of New York helps students with IB coursework and end of year exams for a variety of subjects. We do so by taking the time to learn about how our students’ schools and teachers have built their courses, and about the expectations they place on students. Alongside the materials students use in school, we use our own library of IB resources to ensure that students excel on their in-class work and end of year exams.

Homework Support

Success starts with effective study habits. We help students with homework assignments, but more importantly, we help students help themselves. At TSNY, we focus on habits of reading, methods of outlining and note-taking, and conceptualization techniques that help students succeed in all phases of their IB Coursework.

Essay and Research Support

Whether working on an upcoming English essay, or a Theory of Knowledge Submission, students can rely on us to help with them with research, outlining, drafting, revisions, and more. We help students refine their grammar, diction, and organization, and boost their confidence doing all phases of the researching and writing process independently.

Test Prep

Tutoring Service of New York helps students study for in-class tests and end of year exams alike. Using a variety of materials and study guides, we help students discover methods and processes they can duplicate time and time again, to get the best scores they can on quizzes and tests during the school year, and at the end of the academic year.
